Granin Lähiapu ry is an association whose activities aim to prevent crises, loneliness and exclusion. Granin Lähiapu provides volunteers to help and support people of all ages, families and lonely people, and we also help integrate immigrants. We operate independently but in good cooperation with the city. We are a support network for the people of Kaunas when you need help in everyday life.

Member organizations

A group of local organizations founded Granin Lähiavu in 1989. Most of them are still active as member organizations. The membership organization’s annual fee is €100. New organizations can become members. Membership is confirmed at the annual meeting.

When we plan our activities, we try to find collaborators and volunteers from member organizations to participate in what we do. This is how we contribute to the fact that as much as possible is done in cooperation and together in Kauniainen.
